Dr. Marshall earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Indiana University. She then finished her doctoral degree at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. She furthered her education and training by completing a post-doctoral fellowship in behavioral and sexual health at the University of Minnesota’s Medical School. There she focused on providing clinical services to patients as well as training medical students and residents in the Department of Family Medicine. She was hired as faculty, which allowed for more training of post-doctoral fellows, medical students, residents, and members of the community. She was most interested in providing treatment to individuals, couples, and groups in a family practice clinic and specialty clinic focused on sexuality.

She returned to Indiana in 2003 to be closer to family and friends, as well as to warm up a bit! She has been in private practice since 2005, specializing in behavioral and sexual health. She works out of three locations to better serve her patients and is one of just three certified sex therapists in the state, the only one in the Indianapolis area.
